The purpose of this site is to equip a small army (think Gideon) of Christian instructors who will begin to rethink and rebuild the foundations on which to reconstruct the entire field of education, discipline by academic discipline.
This will need to be done in a decentralized, non-institutionally-sanctioned way: outside the halls of academia. We need to follow in Salman Khan’s footsteps. He blazed the trail. He has shown us the way: Khan Academy. Now the whole world uses Khan. Anyway, a very large chunk of English-speaking school systems around the world use Khan. (Although Khan Academy is now being translated into multiple languages.)
The rest of us who want our children to be thoroughly imbued and trained rigorously in terms of a solid, orthodox, biblical, Trinitarian Christian worldview must put together an alternative. We need to teach our children and our children’s children to acquire and hone their “biblical thinking skills” (in addition to their critical thinking skills) that will last them a lifetime.
Paul Ramirez is an online educator and businessman. He created and developed beginning mathematics courses for the K-12, college-preparatory homeschooling program, Ron Paul Curriculum, helping hundreds of families and students achieve academic success through self-taught online learning.
The current effort is an extension of the legacy of the late Dr. Gary North, PhD (History), who passed away in Feb. 2022. Dr. North had begun making plans for developing a free online Christian curriculum modeled after the success of Khan Academy and his own Ron Paul Curriculum, enlisting the help of Christian educators who share his uncompromising biblical and historical worldview and vision.
